What is the default weekly limit?

Since October 20, 2022, Belgian regulations impose a default deposit limit of €200 per week. This limit applies over a rolling 7-day period, just like your personal weekly limit.

How the limit works

The default deposit limit is fixed and applies to all deposits made during the last 7 days. Each new deposit is therefore taken into account when calculating your weekly cap.

Calculation example

For example, if you make a deposit on Tuesday 04/11/2026 at 4:30 PM, your default weekly limit takes into account all deposits made since Tuesday 04/04/2026 at 4:30 PM.

How to change the limit

If you wish to disable this default limit, you can submit a request from your account settings. Your request will then be forwarded to the Gambling Commission.

After a 72-hour period, your request is automatically accepted unless you are registered as a person in default of payment with the Central Individual Credit Register. In this case, the €200 per week limit remains in effect.

In case of refusal

If your request is denied, unfortunately, we cannot intervene in this decision. If you believe this is an error, you can contact the National Bank of Belgium to obtain information on the reasons for the refusal:
